City building is a labour of love. It is a process by which like-minded individuals, with a common goal of enhancing our quality of life, unite to inspire every person to reach their full potential.
In Vaughan, the raison d’etre of the Mayor’s Gala is to celebrate the very best of our city – kindness, compassion and generosity. This year’s theme is #WeAreVaughan – it represents our pride of citizenship and the knowledge that we all play an important role in creating a City that is admired across the globe.
The 2019 Mayor’s Gala will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2019 – at Universal EventSpace, located at 6250 Highway 7 in Vaughan.
All funds raised will be directed to the Spirit of Generosity, which continues its meaningful support of over 150 not-for-profit and community organizations including children and youth groups, health care initiatives, seniors’ organizations and special needs programs. To date, more than $30 million has been raised through the Spirit of Generosity. With your help, we will continue to inspire positive change and give hope for a better, more promising tomorrow.
