Mandi Gosling to Host “12th Annual Angels in Action, Metamorphosis” – A Night Transforming Lives

New Beginnings Support Program is proud to present its signature fundraising event, the 12th Annual Angels in Action gala, themed “Metamorphosis,” scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the iconic Carlu in Toronto.

Hosted by celebrated Toronto-based producer and journalist, Mandi Gosling, the evening promises an enchanting blend of elegance, live entertainment, and a heartfelt cause. Joining her will be award-winning Canadian actor, producer, director, and writer, Anthony Sherwood as a special guest speaker. The event will also see the presence of dignitaries such as Dr. Jill Andrew, MPP Toronto–St. Paul’s, and numerous other trailblazers.

Making its grand return since the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Angels in Action event, “Metamorphosis,” promises even more flair, showcasing a lineup of Canadian talent. The theme is symbolic of the transformative journeys that the charity supports. The event aims to raise funds to upliftmarginalized women towards self-independence, offering comprehensive yearlong women’s employment and economic empowerment program.

Denise Whitter, New Beginnings Support Program Executive Director, eloquently states, “It’s an opportunity for all of us to come together and shine a spotlight on our recent graduates and their success stories. Our mission is to help these women transform their lives, from poverty to self-independence. We hope to raise awareness and garner support to keep our great programs alive for all who need a new beginning in life.”
